Start With What You Know
Like I said before we are from the Chicagoland area where we love our hot dogs and deep dish pizza. This whole adventure started right after my birthday! What a way to start a birthday....right! No worries. We had a great time as a family. We have some favorites we always order from when we are missing home. (Don't worry Illinois comes back around and we don't order our usual.) If you have never been to Chicago to visit you are missing out. There is so much to do and so much to see. Also the food scene in the city is one to explore. If you have been there to visit what are your must haves when you go there? For us every time we visit home we have a list of restaurants we have to go to......Portillos, Lou's, Rock Bottom, Jackson' Ave Pub, Nicky's, the list could go on and on. Now I want to visit home so I can eat all the things.....hopefully that time will come. Here's what we ordered before we even thought this was something we would be doing 11 months later. ...
