Wanna Be Foodie

This month was a great reading book for me! I made it my goal this year to read or listen to more books. Audio books have become so much easier for me right now. I have 2 kiddos who keep me busy, but don't always need me to be hovering over them all the time....ya know like they did when they were little and needed me ALL THE TIME! I can listen to a book and still be with them and hear them.  This month I read a books in all different kinds of genres and I needed the change up! I am hoping to get some more this month too! Here's what February looked like!  First Up...."Invisible Girl" by Lisa Jewell   I started this book months ago, but I couldn't get into it. It was a slow start but as the story continued I got into it. This is my second Lisa Jewell book and I really like the way she writes. I know this is a food "blog", but there is more to me than just my love of food. I figure I would share some of that today.  I have always loved books and they have become something that I hope my girls love as well. My oldest loves to read, especially now that she can read all on her own. Last year was a ROUGH year of reading. I think I read a total of 5 books last year! I had a goal of 25. Needless to say I could not hold any attention to books at all.  At the beginning of the year I decided that I was going to listen to more books. It would be easier with 2 kiddos having to chase around and entertain. Of course I will read books on my Kindle (what else am I going to do when putting the girls to bed) and I also have a HUGE stack of books to read.
